Friends and coworkers have been asking me for the last two weeks if I had begun to pack. After today, I can finally say that my suitcase has been removed from the attic and settled into the hallway. Apologizes to my mother for the state of the upstairs hallway of the house. In the last two years, I have improved greatly in the art of packing Just the Right Amount. Time will only tell how this will go for me, given that I am packing for three seasons (winter, spring, summer), as well as a multitude of occasions.
Two days from now, I will be a couple of hours into my flight to New Delhi, India, where I will then spend a short 32-hour layover before making my way to Paro, Bhutan.
